Bali, the famed Island of the Gods, will enchant you with its beauty, varied landscape of hills and mountains, rugged coastlines and sandy beaches, lush rice terraces and barren volcanic hillsides, as well as deeply spiritual and unique culture.

We chose OMunity Green Resort as our getaway, a magical place tucked away in a small traditional village in the heart of Bali. It's a little eco-friendly paradise that offers charming accommodation, delicious organic food and an ideal setting for relaxation.

Note: during the first and the second week one day will be devoted for optional sightseeing and enjoying the beauty of Bali beaches and cultural heritage (visit to the volcano and dolphin watching will be proposed as optional activities)

VENUE

OMunity is located in the province of Sudaji, a rare Bali gem untouched by tourism, filled with farms, rice paddies, temples, and a bustling river perfect for rafting. It’s residents are incredibly outgoing, curious, warm and friendly, and are living with the traditions of their ancestors. Sudaji is the home of the majestic Sekumpul waterfall; a seven level cascade featuring an 81m and 108m twin waterfall. It is the tallest waterfall in Bali and claimed by many visitors to be the “Mother of all waterfalls in Bali”.

The retreat center offers several styles of accommodation, all handmade with organic materials by the community of Sudaji.

“OMStay” are four traditionally built Bamboo houses beautifully decorated, with high ceilings, gorgeous handmade canopy beds and outdoor covered ensuite bathroom. OMFamily house is a two story all wood house with a queen, and three single beds and one interior shower. Four OMStone rooms have King sized beds, and an ensuite interior stone bathroom. OMTreehouse is an all bamboo house nestled in the trees with two queen beds, private outdoor rain shower down a short flight of stone stairs, with two separate indoor toilets. OMCave is a single room with private patio, views of the rice field and trees and ensuite bathroom. OMJacuzzi suite comes with a supplement because it has a queen sized bed, ensuite interior bathroom, and private pool (please note that there is no jacuzzi but a private outdoor pool in front of the suite).

By choice, OMunity does not offer TV’s or telephones in any of the rooms. All bathrooms are specially designed with black Balinese reflexology stone floors, natural bricks each personally inscribed with “OM” by hand, western toilets and a hot water rain shower. All rooms include a terrace, sitting area and small tables for reading, resting, having a cup of tea or coffee, or eating your meal. Each room is cleaned and tidied up daily by OMunity´s housekeeping staff, and despite being almost fully outdoors, the property is clean and most guests feel the urge to root themselves with nature and roam around OMunity barefoot.

Flights

Transfer to the retreat centre from/to Denpasar airport or other location on Bali (please note that a one-way transfer from Denpasar airport will cost 650.000,00 IDR per car for 4 persons which is approximately 50 € per car). Please note that we can't guarantee how many persons will be sharing a car with you, as arrival times might be different.

USEFUL NOTES

Travel time from Denpasar airport to the retreat center is 3,5 hours. We recommend arriving to Denpasar airport by 13:00pm on April 25th at the latest

The retreat is organised by the travel agency Eko Explorations d.o.o. registered in Croatia, Petrinjska 51, Zagreb, OIB number 17409590612, ID-kod HR-AB-01-081064291

It's possible to pay in installments: 400 € non-refundable deposit upon booking, the balance (640 € if you chose double or twin room) according to your wishes by March 1st at the latest and yoga program 400 € in cash on spot. Please note that no refunds by Eko Explorations can be made after March 1st.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance in your country of residence (including cancellation insurance)
